Lonely Magic, Rebecca Sugar’s second studio release, presents an evolution on the sounds of its predecessor Spiral Bound, with more robust instrumentation, unexpectedly bold soundscapes, and a connected throughline of themes just as relatable and personal as the subjects of that first album. On 7 heartfelt tracks, Rebecca works through complex feelings of belonging, connection, love and loneliness. 

The Lonely Magic angels, based on friends Rebecca made in art class, represent three important aspects of the creative process: Epiphany, Rationale, and Ache. They act as thematic guides through the entire Lonely Magic project, characters who represent the act of creation as well as art itself.

So naturally, the official Lonely Magic Poster depicts those important characters in a quiet, intimate moment with Rebecca. The illustration is so well-realized, it almost feels like a forgotten black-and-white polaroid. It’s presented here on sturdy heavy cardstock, offset-printed to ensure sharp details and consistent image quality.
